he first case of liposuction dates back to 1921, when Dr. Charles Dujarrier (1860-1931) performed the first one in France

More than 40 years later, in 1964, the German surgeon Dr. Schrudder removed fat tissue and called this technique “Lipoexeresis”. Twenty years later, in 1974, the Italian surgeon Arpad Fischer created the technique that is called “liposculpture” and began to use motorized cannulas. In 1977, Dr. Illouz began to use the Fischer cannula with which he created tunnels after a hypotonic injection was performed. Fournier was the first person that used the word “Lipoplasty”, because he considered that he was performing a fat suction and peripheral remodeling by means of a dry technique. In 1978, doctors Meyer and Kesserling described a fat extraction technique using a cutting cannula that was connected to a negative pressure suction system.

But, it was Jeffrey A. Klein who is considered the father of liposuction for his merits and great contributions. Through hypotonic solutions he obtained more fat extraction with more efficient and less aggressive results for the patients. This technique is known as Tumescent, a technique that Dr. Juan Piña Cazarez adopted and improved and now is using it in his “Laser Center” Clinic.

Some of the names to remove the fat tissue (ADIPOSE MASS) are “lipoexeresis”, “liposculpture”, “lipoplasty”, “liposuction”, “lipomodeling”, “hydrolipoclasia”, and “gynecomastia”. With the natural evolution of the technique and the putting together of the expertise and experience of plastic surgeons, this most advanced and effective procedure allows more suction, modeling, minimum convalescence time, more satisfactory results, and improves self-confidence.

aser Lipolysis

Laser lipolysis is an advanced technique used to remove the excess of fat tissue (ADIPOSE MASS) in those areas resistant to diets and exercise.

This technique uses tumescent local sedation, it is called this because it inflates the fat tissue when it is filled and embedded with several liters of a special solution.

This tumescent solution blocks the area producing pure and highly efficient local anesthesia. General or intravenous sedation is not necessary; therefore, it is not used. This way, risks associated to this type of anesthesia are avoided.

1. The tumescent solution is introduced in the fat tissue through a fine needle.

2. This solution sedates the specific zone only. In addition, it sensitizes fat cells making them more fragile.

3. Optical fibers conduct light and begin to emit a laser ray, transforming fat in an oily emulsion, thus decreasing the thickness of the localized fat tissue.

4. The adiposytes are dissolved releasing the oil that they contain, which is absorbed and eliminated through natural ways. This technique produces less bruises and blood loss; it offers a fast, safe, and more comfortable recovery, and better results than the formerly used lipoaspiration.

aser lipolysis is a state-of-the-art technique used to remove the excess of adipose tissue (ADIPOSE MASS) in those areas that are resistant to diet and exercise.

It is called Laser Lipolysis because the surgeon artistically changes the body into a new form, using the technology provided by an especially calibrated laser that acts on the adipocytes (fat tissue cells) contained in the fat.

hy does the body deform?

Each person develops a certain number of fat cells up to the end of their puberty. These cells are like containers full with fat.

These containers get thinner or fatter as the person gains or lose weight, but the number of containers remains constant.

Certain zones of the body with excessive localized fat have too many containers that do not get thinner with diet or exercise.

Typically, these problem areas are the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, hips, and neck; although this problem can affect any part of the body, both in women and men.

These areas are determined by our genetic code that we inherit.

Members of the same family have fat deposits localized in the same body zones as their relatives. It is common to see that parents and grandparents usually show the same problem areas.

DIET AND EXERCISE DO NOT FUNCTION IN THESE ZONES

Most people try to reduce these problem areas and fail in their attempt. These people lose weight or tone their muscles in certain zones, but this layer of fat (Adipose Mass) resists all efforts.

Laser Lipolysis allows the doctor to make tunnels directly in the layers of body fat (Adipose Mass) and through non-traumatic and delicate operations, dissolve and evaporate fat containers so they disappear.

A posterior elastic compression allows the collapse of micro-tunnels and re-absorption of fat that is eliminated afterwards through natural ways.

r. Juan Piña Cazarez has participated in many liposuctions since 1986; thus, his expertise is undeniable which places him as an expert in liposuction and other fields of cosmetic surgery.

This procedure is available in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico as a safe method that outperforms any other type of reduction procedure, since it directly eliminates the problem when the adipose cells become an oily emulsion. This action, that is changing the Adipose Mass into a liquid, allows more extraction because the body eliminates a part of the liquid through the lymphatic current (urine), and the other part of adipose mass is lipoaspirated to be definitively eliminated from the body.

he great difference compared with other methods

IT IS BETTER THAN EVERYTHING ELSE

This layer of fat is resistant to any existing effort, and people who try to eliminate it with exercise or diets fail.

Weight gain is due to the increase of Adipose Mass not to the creation of new cells. This is the reason why the diet reduces the size of adipose cells proportionally, leaving the silhouette without great changes.

Laser Lipolysis reaches a new body contour through the suppression of inches in localized areas.

Fat cut and elimination is done internally; it acquires a new dimension. Former methods collapsed the Adipose Mass by circular tunnels, but with this procedure a fine and precise cut is done with the Nd: YAG laser that uses a selective wave length to expose and destroy fat tissue with a thermal and mechanic effect that is fast and efficient avoiding surgical accidents such as fat embolism.

This procedure in addition to the Tumescent Technique, the hands of the surgeon, and the experience of Dr. Piña assures the results, which are very evident.

General sedation or hospitalization is not necessary.

Small cannulas, more delicate for softer contours.

The contraction of the skin elastic fibers and the use of an adequate compression after the surgery collapse the tunnels and model the treated zones.

Immediate results

Patients could undergo a laser lipolysis on Friday and resume their work on Monday, looking thinner and younger, without visible signs of the surgery.

It is ideal to correct imperfections left from former liposuctions, because it specifically attacks the defect and dissolves it with the laser.

It corrects the appearance of bumps produced by cellulite.

It does not leave 15 to 20 cm scars.

This medical procedure eliminates excessive fat in men’s breast that is know as gynecomastia;
this fat makes men’s breast similar to the appearance of women’s breast.

Laser Lipolysis respects the elastic structure of the skin and stimulates it causing the skin to readapt.

Overweight people could obtain significant benefits with the Therapeutic Tumescent Lipoplasty associated to the laser lipolysis.
